“We are really excited about the season ahead and our opportunities to engage with you with the new England Rugby Learning platform that, I am sure, you are now all aware of. This does not replace GMS but works alongside GMS in providing you with a new learning experience – providing the ability for us to provide coaches and match officials with digital and blended digital and face to face courses.
England Rugby Learning
Each age grade coach or match official can enrol on the platform by registering on our new Learning Platform England Rugby Learning (please see the guide:- How to join England Rugby Learning). Once enrolled you can head toward your respective Age Group and complete your Active Coaching Badge – giving you vital information on the changes in age grade, the requirement and demands of the year ahead in terms of preparing your players and insights into appropriate training – a real bonus.
What about the new face to face training offer?
You will notice that our training offer has changed with some new courses:- Developing Coaching Practice (DCP), for those new to coaching or refreshing the ‘how to coach’, Introduction to Advanced Coaching Practice (IACP), bridging the gap between the Coaching Award and the Developing Advanced Coaching Practice and, most recently, the England Rugby Coaching Award (ERCA), following the Ready2Ref (R2R) of last season, in moving from two face to face days to one face to face day supported by digital learning to be completed prior to attending your face to face day.
How do I book onto a face-to-face course?
Once you have joined England Rugby Learning you can also proceed to choose England Rugby Coaching Award complete the digital learning, then once completed they can then select the face-to-face session they wish to attend (please see the link:- Click here to view:-).
