Winnington Park RFC

As the oldest established rugby club in Northwich, Winnington Park RUFC are situated in the valley of the River Weaver, the grounds are flanked by other sports facilities at Moss Farm and Hartford Golf Course and Driving Range. ECOLAB LIMITED, our Landlord and Sponsor form one boundary. The Pippins, a pleasant housing development, forms the other.

Two full-size pitches, one floodlit, and a third slightly smaller occupy the site. There are dedicated playing areas for each of the age group teams from Under 6 through to Under 12.

The Clubhouse has changing facilities on the ground floor for up to 6 teams and there are two large baths and a shower area.

The first floor has a recently refurbished main bar and function room, a smaller lounge, kitchen and toilet facilities. Play can be viewed from the comfort of the bars, and also from the Wilf Platt Memorial Stand, capacity 200. Large car parks accommodate most fixtures, there is provision for parking nearby on big occasions.

We currently run three senior teams on a Saturday with an occasional 4th team of Veterans and provide rugby in Northwich at every age level from unders 6s, right through to under 16s, Junior Colts(under 17s) & Senior Colts(under 19s) on Sundays here at Burrows Hill.
