Marple RUFC

Marple Rugby Union Football Club currently run 3 men’s rugby teams and full age range mini and junior teams from their own grounds at Wood Lane. The rugby club has three rugby pitches available for use, two full size and one junior size. The Ridge Sports Association at Wood Lane also hosts Mellor Football Club.

The Rugby Club’s playing and organisational membership is diverse and made up of members (playing and non-playing) from the local community, as well as from around the country and world as can be seen from our ‚ÄòBuy a Brick‚Äô wall. Anyone is welcome to join who wishes to play rugby union – regardless of sex, sexual orientation, race, religion or belief.
Our aim is to maximize YOUR potential as a player and to provide YOU with a high quality rugby experience.
