Cheshire Comps Invitation to compete 2017 18

The first round of next season’s competitions will be played on Saturday 26th August 2017; clubs will by agreement with each other and acknowledgment of the committee be permitted to play their matches at any time over that week-end of Friday 25th August – Monday 28th August 2017.

The second round of the competitions must be played on the first ‘league free’ Saturday of the season the date of which will be confirmed when the draw is announced.

Details of the draws and dates for later rounds will be advised as soon as possible but at the moment we are inviting clubs to enter via email by sending the name of club, along with contact details including email address and telephone number to me at the email address below.

Entry fees in the form of a cheque for the entry fee of £50 made payable to the Cheshire RFU should be sent to the Hon Treasurer at the address in your handbooks, please mark the reverse ‘Comps entry fee’ together with the name of your club, or pass them to a member of the Competitions Committee at the County Annual General Meeting on 08-06-2017 at Chester.

The closing date for receipt of entries is 30th June 2017 at noon.

Please note that by entering the competitions clubs will be expected to comply with the competition regulations, including the requirement to complete the tie by dates specified

Please note that only in very exceptional circumstances will consideration be given for a game to be played as a ‘double header’ with a league fixture, due to variances in extra time regulations and then only with the permission of the competitions committee.
