RFU Young Player Registration 2009/10 Posted by Administrator on Thursday, 20th August 2009 at 11:29AM
Youth Registration Form .PDF to download
****************************************************************
ID Cards (now available)
There has been the introduction of a template for ID cards to enable these to be printed directly by clubs from RugbyFirst. As such we will no longer be supplying ID cards and wallets to clubs.
Player Transfers
These changes will include the ability for Club Youth Registrars to transfer players. This will happen in the same way as the Adult transfer process whereby if a player is already registered with a club the new club must submit a Notification of Transfer form to the player’s current club. When registering a player online this form will be automatically generated and the new club must print this off and send it to the current club. At this stage the requirement to submit a Notification of Transfer form is seen as a matter of courtesy rather than Regulation.
Record Keeping
Once the player has been registered the Club will be required to keep a copy of this transfer document, together with the other registration documents for a minimum of 12 months.
Guidance
On-line Youth Player Registration guidance can be found at www.rfu.com/youthregistration and contains detailed instructions of the registration process including how to get started.
