Senior Squad
After a promising first season the revamped Cheshire Ladies Squad goes from strength to strength with the following squad members continuing to move forward putting their clubs and Cheshire firmly on the map when it comes to talented players and progressing onto the next level.

The following senior squad members will be taking part in the English Touch National Championships as part of the North West Blades Touch Squad:
Hannah Thornhill (Crewe & Nantwich)
Georgie Perris-Redding (Firwood Waterloo)
India Perris-Redding (Crewe & Nantwich)
Millie Jones (Crewe & Nantwich)

Hannah Thornhill is also part of the England Student 7’s squad after success as part of the Red Panda Elite 7’s squad alongside the following Cheshire Squad members:
Bex Wilson (Firwood Waterloo)
Georgie Perris- Redding (Firwood Waterloo)
India Perris-Redding (Crewe & Nantwich)

The future is looking very bright for Cheshire with a lot of talented U15’s and U18’s also progressing towards the Senior Squad with honours with four of the U18 players playing in the Senior squad this season as development players.

U18 Girls

Not to be outdone by the Senior Squad, as well as boasting four players moved up as development players into the Seniors (Millie Jones, Charlotte Blakeborough, Nicole Bell and Christine Lawson), the U18’s have also had Lecky Dunne (formerly of Crewe & Nantwich, now signed for Dublin) capped as part of the Ireland U18’s 7’s squad which recently won the Home Nations 7’s championship in Edinburgh, please follow the following link to read all about their success:

U15 Girls

Not to be outdone by the older squads, the U15 squad is also full of talent.  The following players have been successful in achieving honours and will be representing England at the European Junior Touch Championships in Stirling this summer (17-19 August).
Alanah Gauntlett (Crewe & Nantwich) England Touch Mixed U15 squad
Mimi Paton (Crewe & Nantwich) England Touch Girls U18 squad
Both girls are also members of the NW Blades Touch Squad.

And when it comes to hidden talent, their Cheshire team mate Lola Garrod can currently be seen on this series of the Voice Kids on ITV.  Lola successfully made it through the blind audition round after being picked to be a part of coach Danny Jones’s team.
