Sandbach RUFC – Volunteer Coordinator
We are looking for someone to recruit and retain volunteers at our club, probably one of the most important roles! We need someone innovative, with great inter-personal skills. The role would provide a much needed link between the Main Committee and players, parents and coaches throughout the club. The role will also encompass fundraising and social media.
Sandbach RUFC- Under 16s- Age Group Manager
We are looking for a strong personality to take responsibility for the welfare of our Under 16s as they head into their Colts seasons. They are a successful age group, with a strong coaching team. The role is mainly admin, but would suit a prospective coach who would wish to learn alongside some top level coaching.
The role will provide a valuable link between the age group players, parents and coaches, and the club which is blossoming into one of the best in Cheshire, with a professional approach, and vibrant set up. On the pitch, the age group are one of the best in Cheshire, and we need someone who can help integrate these players and supporters into the senior club, so excellent communication skills are required for a role which can be challenging but rewarding.
Sandbach RUFC- Under 14s- Age Group Manager
Our Under 14s are looking for a key communicator. The role is mainly admin, but with a responsibility to oversee coaching, and to promote the ethics of our club to players, coaches and parents alike. Communication skills are a must, as is a strong personality, but the role will be rewarding, as the age group’s parents are very supportive.
This role would suit someone who is used to working with young adults, and wishes to add to their experience.
Sandbach RUFC- Girl’s Section – Support Coach
Great opportunity for a coach who wishes to involve his or her self in a project just taking off. Our girls section is in its maiden year, but has developed massively with some positive coaching. Numbers are increasing, and enthusiasm amazing. We do require extra help though, as the age groups split with more girls joining the club on a weekly basis. The role would suit someone who is willing to put 100% into the role, to increase the individual skills of each girl, while developing the overall patterns of each age group within the girls section.
The girls train on Friday nights, and play on Sunday early afternoons, so the role may fit with someone who already involves themselves with an age group. The role may develop as it goes on, and there is scope for a coach who is already experienced, to progress their coaching skills and profile.
