Cheshire Mini and Junior Section has adopted a Code of Conduct covering the ethos and aims of Mini/Junior (as described in the RFU Guidance to Regulation 15, http://www.englandrugby.com/governance/regulations/, which covers age grade rugby)
All clubs and minis/junior teams are expected to adhere to the Code of Conduct, which is available here: CheshireMJCodeofConduct
There will be some changes to the Junior Cup competitions in 2016/17 due to changes in the RFU regulations:
U18s Cup – In previous years, the Senior Colts competition has been an U19s competition but the RFU has now changed the regulations so that the Senior Colts competition will now be an U18s competition. U19s players will not be eligible to play in this competition.
U12s and U13s Cup – The format for these competitions may need to change slightly to adapt to new RFU guidance. This will be clarified before the first round of matches once we have a better idea of the impact of the changes and the number of teams entered in each competition. The number of games will be the same, but the format of the draw might have to change for these age groups.
The rules for the Junior Cup and Knockout competitions are available here: Cheshire Junior Knockout Competition Rules (Issue15v1)
