Bowdon RUFC U14s Outstanding Winners

On the day Bowdon RUFC played some outstanding rugby winning their group by beating Cumbrian Champions Egremont in the last group game to book their place in the final. The final was a hotly contested game with Wrexham RUFC, a tight first half which Bowdon finished the half 3 tries to 1 up. In the second half Bowdon scored early and drew confidence to then go on to score 3 further tries in a great display of Sevens rugby. Unbeaten on the day Bowdon scored over 200 points conceding less than 30 points in their 5 games.
The squad received their trophy and were photographed on the pitch by Graham Moore Grundy during half time at the Sale Sharks V Bath match on Friday night.
